The Uncharted movie has now finished production and we’ve gotten our first look at Sully’s costume, as confirmed by the official Twitter account of the highly anticipated cinema release and Mark Wahlberg.
The Uncharted movie has had a troubled production ever since the moment it was announced some years ago. It’s had a stop-start production and multiple changes of director. In fact it’s had so many issues fans were wondering if it would ever release.
However it seems in the last week we’ve seen so much from the stars of the movie, such as Spider-Man’s Tom Holland and Transformers’ Mark Wahlberg, you’d think that the movie has coasted through production trouble-free.
First of all we saw a first-look image of Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, striking a pose that very much resembled the box art of Uncharted 3. Soon after, Mark Wahlberg shared a fantastic image of his moustache, a facial feature associated with Drake’s mentor, Victor “Sully” Sullivan.
Now the official Uncharted movie page has shared an image revealing that the movie has already finished production.
Then as an added bonus Mark Wahlberg shared a new image of the shirt that he’ll be wearing as Sully. To the outside fan this might not mean too much, but to Uncharted fans it will mean so much more.
Despite the Uncharted movie now having now completed production, we still currently do not know too much about its plot other than it will star a young Nathan Drake and his mentor Sully, and it will of course be inspired by the beloved video game series.
The Uncharted movie has also had several release dates, but with the pandemic mayhem still plaguing the world the latest release date is now July 16th, 2021 in cinemas.
