It seems that Gran Turismo 7 might be getting a PlayStation 5 beta test soon. That is if a recent website leak is to be believed.
Firstly, you must sign in to the Experience PlayStation app, which was designed to connect fans and keep them updated with special promotions. The Experience PlayStation app launched in 2017 for a PlayStation Experience event which was held in Anaheim, California.
So how do you access the beta?
According to GTPlanet, you must first launch the Experience PlayStation website. From there you must choose Related Campaigns, select Italia Quest, and then watch the Gran Turismo 7 trailer for ten seconds.
Once you have completed these steps you will then be greeted with an alleged beta key, which apparently does not work if you try to redeem it. Eurogamer believes that this code is a placeholder.
It’s worth keeping in mind that Sony hasn’t officially announced a beta for Gran Turismo 7. In fact, we’ve not seen a great deal of Gran Turismo 7 since it was announced in June 2020.
It is likely that this Gran Turismo 7 beta quest was uploaded to Experience PlayStation by error or perhaps someone thought that it might not be noticed before an official reveal is made. However, that’s just speculation on my part.
That said whether it was premature or not, this apparent leak perhaps indicates that a beta for Gran Turismo 7 is on the way sooner rather than later.
We have no release date for Gran Turismo 7, though the racing sim is expected to release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2022.
