A new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War leak has seemingly revealed some of the content that will be coming in Season One.
News of the leaks was brought to our attention by the Twitter page Call of Duty Leaks, which does have a history of providing reliable information. As always though, take with a pinch of salt until confirmed.
Dataminers have reportedly discovered additional files in the Season One Starter Pack which will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S this month on December 10th.
The biggest highlight for me personally is the discovery of a night-time Christmas themed Nuketown map. I don’t know what it is about this map, but it’s always been a favourite of mine.
Following some deletions of tweets, the remaining one reads “NIGHT TIME CHRISTMAS NUKETOWN MAP” with an image of the Christmas themed map in question.
The Nuketown map is also known for having its fair share of fun Easter eggs which players must often work wonders to discover. I’m hoping that we’ll get some additional Christmas inspired Nuketown treats this month!
The dataminers apparently also discovered a new multiplayer mode called Dropkick which is said to feature the use of nukes.
It was also discovered that Season One will, of course, feature various new bundles, skins, modes and more, as most of us would assume.
Call of Duty Leaks did provide various tweets but at the time of writing all but one have received DMCA takedowns by Activision, which normally indicates that there are truths behind the rumours.
However as always until officially confirmed, all rumours, leaks and speculation must be taken with a pinch of salt no matter how believable.
