Arguably the most important component in any computer (along with the graphics card if you’re a gamer), your CPU has the most impact on performance. If you’re planning a new PC Build, perhaps one of the best PC builds, anytime soon, this year should yield some good processor discounts, all of which we will be tracking below.
So far, we’ve seen some big savings on 10th Gen Intel chips, as they capitalise on AMD Ryzen shortages and clear out their inventory, to make space for more Rocket Lake CPUs (you can buy 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs right now, by the way).
Ryzen stock has returned here and there, usually at MSRP or slightly below (as we found on our 5600X stock tracker), but the more eagle-eyed shoppers out there have found some good discounts, which vanish in seconds. However, the situation remains very much the same as we predicted at the end of 2020, PC builders have the choice of effectively going with Intel or waiting.
Below, we’re rounding up the best CPU deals, from sales on low-end chips to high-end, multi-core productivity beasts like those you’ll find on our best CPUs page or high atop or CPU benchmarks hierarchy.
