AMD Radeon RX 6000 Mobile series to feature Navi 22, Navi 23 and Navi 24 GPUs –

AMD Radeon RX 6000 Mobile Series

Next year AMD will not only launch its Zen3 based AMD Ryzen 5000 mobile processor series, but also its next-generation graphics processors under Radeon RX 6000M series. So far we have only heard about the Navi 22 and Navi 23 GPU coming to laptops, but it appears that the manufacturer will also launch a Navi 24 GPU.

The Navi 22 is expected to feature up to 2560 Stream Processors and a 192-bit memory bus. This GPU should launch as Radeon RX 6700M mobile series, which could compete with the NVIDIA RTX 3060 family of graphics cards. The series should feature a 192-bit memory bus and either 12GB (like the desktop series) or 6GB GDDR6 memory.

AMD’s Navi 23 GPU, which was recently mentioned by Patrick, is a mid-range GPU with up to 2048 Stream Processors. Unlike the Navi 22, the 23 should feature a 128-bit memory bus, which indicates a 4GB or even 8GB memory configuration.

According to the new data published by Patrick, the Navi 24 would be an entry-level mobile processor available in two variants: Navi 24 XM and Navi 24 XML. While the information does not confirm the specifications of the processors, we do learn their power requirements. The XM model GPU would have a configurable Total Graphics Power of 35W, 42.5W, and 50W. An NV24 XML variant would only have a TGP of 25W. Such TGP values imply we are looking at a competition to integrated GPUs, discrete options such as Intel Xe Max or GeForce MX series.

This isn’t the first time we are hearing about this CPU. Back in August, way before AMD made any Navi 2X information official, Komachi_Ensaka revealed that AMD is not only working on the Navi 41 but also on Navi 24 as well:
