Since 2011, Japanese development studio Grezzo has worked on a number of The Legend of Zelda remakes and remasters.

Notable video games from the studio include the likes of the Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask remakes, as well as Luigi’s Mansion on the Nintendo 3DS and 2019’s Link’s Awakening for the Nintendo Switch.

As spotted by Nintendo Everything, there are currently three job positions available at Grezzo: a programmer, effects designer and UI designer to work on the currently unannounced project.

The potential candidates must have experience working with the Unity engine and must not only be a fan of video games, but should also be able to get into the mindset of a player when developing.

The unannounced project won’t be “photorealistic” but will apparently take elements from reality and put a unique design twist on them.

It’s worth keeping in mind that this new project from Grezzo isn’t looking like it will be a new Legend of Zelda game but it will be quite interesting to see if it will be a new IP, something that the studio hasn’t done all that often.

The Legend of Zelda fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the already confirmed Breath of the Wild sequel. In September 2020 series producer Eiji Aonuma mentioned the development of the sequel during a Nintendo Direct event.

“We mentioned in the June 2019 Nintendo Direct presentation that we had started development on a sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild,” said Aonuma. “Many people around the world are still playing Breath of the Wild so I’d like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Everyone, thank you do much.

However fans that are eager to get a new Legend of Zelda fix, can pick up Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity from the GameByte Shop. The game is set 100 years prior to the events of Breath of the Wild.
