Putting Pineapple On Pizza Is A Crime In Cyberpunk 2077

The debate as to whether pineapple belongs on pizza is a war that will no doubt rage on until the end of time, but in Cyberpunk 2077 it seems that choosing the delicious topping is actually a crime.

It seems that some of the developers at CD Projekt Red believe that pineapple definitely does not belong on pizza as reflected by a bounty mission in Cyberpunk 2077 (and for the record, those devs are wrong). As spotted by GGRecon, pineapple on pizza is actually illegal in Night City.

The game has its own pizza-related legislation act, which comes under the “Illegal use of pineapple or pineapple-adjacent products (Pizza Desecration Act, article 1, 5 5a)” by the law enforcers of Night City.

The bounty mission in question has warranted a 3/5 star bounty and it’s highly likely that the defendant will die for his or her crimes.

Whether this three-star bounty deserves to be on the same crime level as taking a hostage in Night City is questionable, though I suppose it all depends on your tastebuds.

This very humorous and tongue-in-cheek “Mauler” mission was shared with an image by Reddit user Work_Account89.

This very harsh law of banning pineapple on pizza in Night City has resulted in a surge of black market activity in its criminal underworld, with one Reddit user replying to the post saying: “Black market pizza. It’s the taboo that creates the market.

To be honest I’m just grateful that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles do not exist in Night City.  Though can you imagine how powerful they might be with cybernetic augmentations? They’d rule the criminal underworld for sure!

Are you on Team Pineapple Pizza or not and should it be a crime in Cyberpunk 2077? If you’re all for it, you’re in good company as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is leading the charge! For the record, I’m all-in on Team Pineapple on Pizza!
