Travis Scott has performed a show in Fortnite that had 12 million people watching. Travis Scott has had a McDonald’s meal named after his Cactus Jack brand. He’s everywhere and now he has joined the PlayStation family. You probably wonder what that means though. Let’s jump into it.
What Is Travis Scott Doing With PlayStation?
Travis Scott is a strategic creative partner. The goal of this collaboration? To create projects for both fans of PlayStation and fans of Travis Scott/Cactus Jack.
Considering what we saw Travis do with Fortnite this could mean some pretty awesome audiovisual moments on the horizon for PlayStation fans. We’d love to see a Cactus Jack Dreams level!
Eric Lempel, the Senior Vice President of PlayStation Worldwide Marketing, talked more about the partnership over on PlayStation Blog.
We heard Travis is a huge PlayStation fan, so we started a conversation with him that led to this unique partnership. Through our mutual passion for gaming and creativity, we plan on collaborating with Travis and his Cactus Jack brand to produce innovative projects that we hope will delight our collective fans.
Travis is an artist who is incredibly innovative, constantly surprising, and continues to push boundaries, very much like the PlayStation brand – so we think this is a perfect fit. When we embarked on this collaboration, the most important thing was to keep it as open as possible, to allow space to explore interesting, creative ideas.
The blog post also included some words from Travis Scott himself.
I’m really looking forward to being able to showcase everything that Cactus Jack has worked on with Sony and the PlayStation team. Most importantly I’m excited to see how the PlayStation fans and family respond, and I look forward to running some games with everybody very soon!

Travis Scott and PlayStation In the past
This collaboration makes an image posted on Travis Scott’s Instagram back in September make a lot more sense. It was an image of a DualSense, the PS5 controller, on his lap. It was no doubt a teaser for this collaboration. Obviously, it was a bit too galaxy brain for any of us to predict the level of collaboration though.
